I saw Video Games Live today at Heinz Hall. It was the most fucking amazing thing I have ever seen in my life! This performance really showed how skilled the Pittsburgh Symphony is. With all these different genres of music, the performance had to be challenging, but it was flawless! The only complaint I have is about the principle fluatist. He used vibrato for every fucking note. Now, I'm not dissing vibrato. I'm just saying that it doesn't have to be used for every damn note! >.<

Even though the two performances are just over withing the last few hours, there are already videos of the show on youtube. I'm not joking, look up Pittsburgh Video Games Live. I think most of them are shot from the balcony. So, let me give you an idea of how close I manage to get seats. If you watch the vids and see the pianist, just imagine being 10 feet from him. THAT'S HOW FUCKING CLOSE I WAS! XD I bet if the camera just moves a bit in those vids you can see my blonde hair sticking out in the crowd xD

I have to say that my favorite part of the show was the singing part. The host told us to, "take out your DS's, PSPs, and cell phones and wave them in the air while we sing a song!" So what did I do, grab my DS, turned it on, and waved it in the air while singing Super Mario Bros. But I helped "ruin" the song(along with the row of people dressed up as Sonic characters behind me) by screaming the melody to "Green Hill Zone" xD. Right after that the host whips out a Terrible Towel, blindfolds a pianist with the Terrible Towel(I forget the guys name >.<, and the pianist plays music from the Mario games BLINDFOLDED! IT...WAS...INSANE!! And right before he started playing, we(the audience) had to yell "GO STEELERS!!!" a million times xD

I highly recommend any gamer to go see this if they can. There are 90 shows World Wide this year. I'm sure there may be a city having it near you.

Oh yeah, the Michael Jackson video game tribute was epic win. Who would ever thought of Michael Jackson racing against Sonic while moon walking? And MJ as the blocks in Tetris, and killing Mario then staring in the Mario games? It was amazing. Don't worry, I have some pics from the show.
